Environmental Economics

This is a class that I teach every other year at Adelphi for economics majors. It is unconventional in that I focus much more than most on ecological economics (or environmental macro) than I do on traditional environmental economics, which is really nothing more than applied micro. While I believe that the latter offers some analytical tools and policy insights, it is mostly irrelevant to the much more pressing question of whether or not capitalism is sustainable.
